The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported around 11:58 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, just west of the Hilltop Drive off-ramp.

At Least One Person Severely Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-80 in Richmond

Richmond, CA. – At least one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that happened late Wednesday night in Richmond.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported around 11:58 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, just west of the Hilltop Drive off-ramp.

A motorcycle, a black Honda sedan, and a third car were involved in the collision.

The rider was lying down in the off-ramp lane after the accident.

The report said at least one person sustained major injuries. At least one other person in the Honda sedan was also possibly injured.

Richmond police, firefighters, and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped the victims.

Several traffic lanes were closed during the investigation.
