Two cars collided on Wednesday afternoon on westbound State Route 91 near State Route 71.

2 People Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on SR-91 in Corona

Corona, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Corona, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck occurred around 5:22 p.m. on westbound State Route 91, near State Route 71.

The collision involved a silver Honda CR-V and a white Toyota RAV4. Airbags were deployed in the Honda.

Firefighters responded to the scene shortly after the crash.

Two people were taken to Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. One person complained of pain to the left shoulder and mid back, and the other complained of pain to the wrist.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
