Beaumont, California (May 18, 2022) – The Riverside County coroner’s office has identified Daniel Reyes, 47, of Moreno Valley, as the driver who was killed in a Tuesday afternoon crash in Beaumont.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 1:32 p.m. on May 17, near San Timoteo Canyon Road and Redlands Boulevard.

A Toyota Camry and a sedan were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately established.

Daniel Reyes Killed in Beaumont Crash on San Timoteo Canyon Road 

Authorities said Reyes was driving one of the vehicles and died in the accident.

The second motorist was rushed to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley with minor injuries.

Further details on the crash were not provided.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
