Atwater, CA: 1 Seriously Injured in Big Rig Vs. Sedan Crash on Highway 99
Atwater, California (March 10, 2022) – A sedan ended up underneath a semi-truck in a crash that happened Thursday morning in Atwater, sending one person to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at about 7:52 a.m. on southbound Highway 99 at Applegate Road.
Police officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene after receiving reports of a vehicle underneath a big rig.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient was taken to Doctors Medical Center in unknown condition.
