Simi Valley, CA – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Sunday night on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Simi Valley.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup occurred in the eastbound lanes of the freeway just west of Stearns Street.

A black SUV, a black sedan, and a third car were involved in the accident.

One person was reportedly stuck inside one of the vehicles.

CHP officers, Simi Valley police, and firefighters responded to the scene.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
