Fullerton, CA – A man died when his motorcycle collided with a Cybertruck Friday afternoon at an intersection in Fullerton, the Fullerton Police Department reported.

The crash occurred around 3:27 p.m. on May 22 at West Orangethorpe Avenue and South Gilbert Street.

According to Fullerton PD, the man was riding a brown Honda Navi motorcycle eastbound in the No. 2 lane of Orangethorpe Avenue, and a silver Tesla Cybertruck was traveling westbound on Orangethorpe Avenue, when the driver started to turn southbound onto Gilbert Street.

The motorcyclist slammed into the side of the Cybertruck as it was turning.

The rider was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The man’s identity was not immediately released.

Authorities are investigating to determine the factors that contributed to the accident.
