Sunnyvale, CA. – A woman died after she was hit by a recreational vehicle Sunday afternoon in Sunnyvale, the Sunnyvale Police Department reported.
The incident was reported around 4:50 p.m. in the 900 block of West Cardinal Avenue.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a woman was helping level a recreational vehicle on leveling blocks in the driveway of a home when the accident happened.
Emergency personnel found the victim trapped underneath the vehicle.
Firefighters freed the woman and took her to Stanford Health Care, where she was pronounced dead.
The RV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
