The traffic collision happened at around 1:30 p.m. on November 23 near Mason Avenue and Saticoy Street.
The LAPD said they were pursuing a man in his 40s driving a southbound stolen Mercedes Benz on Mason Avenue when he ran a red light and collided with a westbound Tesla.
The impact caused the Tesla to crash into two other vehicles.
The female Tesla driver died at the scene.
The other drivers involved were taken to a hospital with relatively minor injuries.
The suspect has since been taken into custody as the investigation continues.
An investigation is ongoing.
