According to the CHP, a 30-year-old man was driving a 2025 Ford Mustang eastbound on Avenue 408 when, for unknown reasons, he let the vehicle drift off the right side
Cutler, CA – A woman was killed in a rollover accident that occurred near Cutler on Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on Avenue 408 west of Road 124 just before 12:29 p.m. on September 1.
According to the CHP, a 30-year-old man was driving a 2025 Ford Mustang eastbound on Avenue 408 when, for unknown reasons, he let the vehicle drift off the right side.
The vehicle crashed into the concrete curb and a chain link fence, then hit two metal posts and a wooden sign.
A 38-year-old woman who was a pasenger in the vehicle was not wearing her seatbelt.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to the CHP, impairment is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
