Morro Bay, CA.– A woman was injured in a traffic collision in Morro Bay on Thursday afternoon, according to the Morro Bay Police Department.
The incident took place on South Bay Boulevard at around 2:58 p.m.
Police said a woman was driving a sedan northbound on South Bay Boulevard when she made a left turn onto State Parks Road and was struck by a southbound pickup truck.
Both vehicles were pushed off the roadway and the sedan ended up in a ravine.
The driver of the sedan was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
No further details were released.
The crash is under investigation.
