Hesperia, CA. – A woman was critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Hesperia Monday morning.
The Hesperia Police Department received reports regarding the wreck at Maple Avenue and Mauna Loa Street at around 7 a.m.
The collision involved a green GMC Yukon, a silver Toyota Camry, and a white Chevy Tahoe. However, the manner in which the wreck happened was not immediately established.
The woman, who was driving the Camry, sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center.
Later updates from acquaintances revealed that she underwent surgery for a broken hip and wrist and is expected to recover.
