Big Bear Lake, CA.- William Brandt, 54, of Fawnskin, was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred at Big Bear Lake on Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck took place on Big Bear Boulevard, just east of Rim of the World Scenic Byway, at about 6 p.m. August 18.

A suspected DUI motorist was driving a small SUV on Big Bear Boulevard when she collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Brandt.

According to the CHP report, Brandt was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after.

The driver of the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
