Victorville, CA – Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Collision on Seventh Avenue near Bear Valley Road

Victorville, CA – A pedestrian sustained major injuries in a vehicle collision in Victorville on Thursday night, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

At around 10:10 p.m. October 8, authorities responded to reports of a crash on Seventh Avenue near Bear Valley Road.

According to deputies, a female pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck on the street for undetermined reasons.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to the pedestrian. The victim was then taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

According to deputies, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs was not believed to have played any role in the incident.

An investigation into the collision is still ongoing.
