Preliminary reports indicate that a 32-year-old driver in a gray Tesla was traveling westbound on SR 232 when they drifted into the eastbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming white Toyota SUV

Ventura County, CA – Two drivers were hurt in a collision between two vehicles on State Route 232 in Ventura County on Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Vineyard Avenue east of Parello Ranch Road on Monday, June 1.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 32-year-old driver in a gray Tesla was traveling westbound on SR 232 when they drifted into the eastbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming white Toyota SUV.
CHP officers were trying to figure out what caused the Tesla driver to move into the oncoming lanes. Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated both motorists from their vehicles.
Medics transported both drivers to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Their identities were not immediately released.
According to the CHP, alcohol and drugs did not appear to have played a role in the accident. No arrests or citations were immediately announced.
