A preliminary report revealed a car was headed south in the northbound lanes of the highway when it struck a second vehicle. A third vehicle also crashed into the first two vehicles.
Mesa, AZ. – Uriel Sanchez, 22, of Chandler, and Jordon Lewis, 19, of Laveen were identified as victims killed in an early Sunday morning multi-car crash on Loop 202 in Mesa.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at around 2 a.m. on August 18 on Loop 202 near Eliot Road.

Sanchez and Lewis were killed in the mishap.
DPS said impairment is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
No additional details regarding the wreck were provided.
