Gilbert, AZ – One of the four juveniles who were injured in a single-car accident in Gilbert on September 27 is dead, according to a report by the Gilbert Police.

The deceased teen, identified only as a 16-year-old girl, succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday, September 30, while undergoing treatment. Two other teens remained hospitalized on Tuesday last week.

Gilbert, AZ – Four kids were injured in a solo-vehicle accident in Gilbert Saturday night, according to Gilbert Police. 

The crash occurred at about 10:00 p.m. on September 27 near Williams Fields Road and Gilbert Road.

Investigators said the vehicle was travelling westbound on Williams Field Road when it veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

Four kids sustained critical injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Another kid sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police believe alcohol was a major factor in the crash.

No additional details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the accident.
