San Jose, CA – 37-year-old Harrison Golding died in a motorcycle collision that happened Sunday morning at an intersection in South San Jose, the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner reported.
The accident transpired around 11:48 a.m. on October 4, 2026, at McKean Road and Almaden Road.
According to the San Jose Police Department, Golding was riding a black 2009 Yamaha FZ6R motorcycle west on McKean Road through the intersection of Almaden Road when he collided with a northbound gray 2025 Toyota RAV4.
Golding sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was rushed to the hospital by paramedics but later died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the car stopped and remained at the scene.
Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be contributing factors.

San Jose, CA – A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning near an intersection in South San Jose.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the accident took place around 11:45 a.m. on October 4, 2026, near McKean Road and Almaden Road.
A man riding a motorcycle collided with an unidentified vehicle and sustained serious injuries. The rider was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The other driver stopped and remained at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine what transpired leading to the accident.
Units are currently investigating a vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in the area of Mckean Road and Almaden Road. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
