Hesperia, CA. – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist killed in a Friday afternoon crash in Hesperia as 28-year-old Chad M. Gueltzow of Victorville.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 173 at around 2:06 p.m. November 1.
Reportedly, Gueltzow was riding his white Suzuki motorcycle with a group of fellow motorcyclists when for unknown reasons he collided with a white 2023 Chevrolet Volt.
Gueltzow was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway.

Hesperia, CA. – A 27-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a collision on Highway 173 in Hesperia Friday afternoon.
The Hesperia Police Department said the incident was reported at around 2:06 p.m. on State Route 173, East of the Mojave River Forks Campground.
Reportedly, a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle collided with a white 2023 Chevy Volt for unknown reasons.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the sedan was not injured and remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More information about the crash was not provided.
