Montebello, CA. – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the man who died Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident on Pomona (60) Freeway in Montebello as Adwale Oyedokun.
The 29-year-old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle around 10:38 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the Garfield Avenue off-ramp.
First responders found Oyedokun injured and a vehicle blocking one traffic lane.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His city of residence was not mentioned.
Three lanes of the eastbound 60 Freeway were closed for several hours following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.

Los Angeles, CA. – At least one person died in a traffic collision that happened on Tuesday night near Montebello in East Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on eastbound Highway 60 near Garfield Avenue.
Two vehicles and possibly a pedestrian were involved in the accident. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
CHP says one person died in the collision.
