Ukiah, CA – A crash involving multiple vehicles on Highway 101 in Ukiah sent one person to a hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a California Highway Patrol log, the incident was reported at around 2:19 p.m near the Perkins Street offramp.
The report reveals that three vehicles, including a blue Hyundai Elantra, were involved in the collision. The three crashed in the northbound lanes for unspecified reasons.
The CHP officers and firefighters were called to the scene to assist the involved individuals.
Medics evaluated parties for injuries and one of them was transferred to a hospital with moderate injuries.
As emergency crews worked at the scene, authorities blocked both northbound lanes of Highway 101.
At least three tow trucks were sent to the scene and remove the damaged vehicles.
Additional information on the accident have not been released at this time. An investigation into the incident by the CHP is ongoing.
