Anaheim, CA – One person was injured following a two-vehicle collision on State Route 55 near Katella Avenue in Anaheim Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred at approximately 7:08 a.m. on October 24 on the northbound lanes of SR-55 just south of Katella Avenue.
Emergency responders, including paramedics, arrived on scene shortly after the incident was reported.
According to the CHP incident log, a black Kia sedan and a tan van were involved in the crash, which initially blocked the right-hand lane. Tow trucks from Archie's Tow and Southside Tow were dispatched to assist with clearing the roadway.
One party was transported from the scene by emergency medical personnel with unspecified injuries. No arrests or citations have been made at this time.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol's Santa Ana office
