Mason County, WA – Two people were seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday morning in Mason County, according to the Washington State Police.

Reports revealed a northbound vehicle was attempting to pass another car when it collided with a southbound vehicle.
Both drivers suffered severe injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. The police said both are expected to survive.
The police determined speed during icy dark conditions was the cause of the crash.
