The California Highway Patrol said a big rig was traveling down SR 74 when it lost control, rolled over, and crashed into an oncoming Chevrolet Silverado
Palm Desert, CA.- Tristin Samuel Bourgeois, 27, of La Quinta, has been identified as the man who was killed in a collision involving a big rig in Palm Desert on Thursday morning, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
The wreck happened on State Route 74 at about 7:30 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a big rig was traveling down SR 74 when it lost control, rolled over, and crashed into an oncoming Chevrolet Silverado.
Bourgeois, who was driving the Silverado, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The roadway was shut down for hours following the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
