Mohave County, AZ – The Bullhead City Police Department has identified Trena Yvette Reinhart, 48, of Idaho Falls, as a woman killed in a crash on Highway 68 in Bullhead City on New Year's Eve.
The incident occurred at around 3:40 p.m. December 31, 2024, on Arizona Highway 68 near Landon Drive.
Reportedly, a 2004 red Ford Explorer was reportedly traveling westbound on Highway 68 when it collided with a Can-Am off-road vehicle that was attempting to cross the highway.
Trena, who was a passenger in the UTV died from her injuries at the scene. Her husband, Laurence Jason Reinhart, 49, of Idaho Falls, was the UTV driver and was flown by air ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, Dennis Mathias Hogue, 76, of Mohave Valley, was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center by Bullhead City Fire paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police said Laurence was wearing a seatbelt during the collision while Trena was not wearing a seatbelt as she was ejected from the UTV.
The collision remains under investigation.
