Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found six vehicles, including a jackknifed big rig, involved in the collision. The vehicles were blocking all the traffic lanes, except the HOV lane.

Torrance, CA – Multiple vehicles collided Saturday evening on Interstate 405 in Torrance, resulting in minor injuries, as per the California Highway Patrol logs.
The pileup was reported to authorities around 8:18 p.m. on April 4 in the southbound lanes of the freeway just north of S Vermont Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found six vehicles, including a jackknifed big rig, involved in the collision. The vehicles were blocking all the traffic lanes, except the HOV lane.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries in the accident. It was unclear if anyone was hospitalized.
A gray Nissan Sentra was towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
