According to the Oregon State Police, the mishap happened at around 1:31 p.m. on April 3, on State Route 224 at Weitz Lane
Clackamas County, OR – Timothy Mark Woodard, 64, of Eagle Creek was killed, Diane Woodard, 71, of Eagle Creek, and Joshua Jordan Redd, 43, of Estacada, were hospitalized after a 3-car crash on Highway 224 in Clackamas County Thursday afternoon.
According to the Oregon State Police, the mishap happened at around 1:31 p.m. on April 3, on State Route 224 at Weitz Lane.
Reportedly, a westbound Ford F150 operated by Luis Guerrero Lopez, 64, of Eagle Creek, struck the rear of a Toyota Celica driven by Woodard, which was stopped to turn onto Weitz Lane.
The collision pushed the Toyota into the eastbound lane where it was struck head-on by an eastbound Subaru Forrester driven by Redd.
Woodard was declared deceased at the scene. A passenger in the Toyota, Diane was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital.
Redd was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital.
Lopez was evaluated for injury and arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
No additional information about the crash was available.
An investigation is ongoing.
