Modesto, CA.- The man who was killed in a car accident in Modesto last week on Friday has been identified as Timoteo Alvarez, 32, of Ceres, according to the Modesto Police Department.
The incident took place on Morgan Road just south of Nelson Way at about 5:30 p.m. March 14.
According to police, Alvarez was driving a blue Ford Mustang southbound on Morgan Road when he collided with a northbound big rig.
Alvarez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the big rig had minor injuries.
The cause of the deadly crash is under investigation.
