Tempe, AZ – A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle near Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe Thursday, according to the Tempe Police Department.
The collision occurred Thursday near Arizona Mills Mall when a vehicle was turning northbound out of the shopping center and struck the man as he was in a crosswalk.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities said his injuries were considered life-threatening.
The driver remained at the scene following the collision, according to police.
Northbound Priest Drive was closed from Darrow Drive to Arizona Mills East as authorities investigated the crash and emergency crews worked at the scene.
