Orcutt, CA.- A teenager riding on a scooter was injured in a crash that happened near Orcutt on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Foster Road and Woodland Street at around 6:05 p.m. September 9.
According to the report, a 14-year-old boy was riding on an electric scooter when he tried to cross the roadway and was hit by a GMC Yukon traveling west on Foster Road.
The boy was transported to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
No further details were released.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
