Kitsap County, WA.- A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Kitsap County on Wednesday, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.

The accident happened in the area of Hansville Road and Northeast 288th Street on Wednesday, August 6.

According to the report, a 25-year-old Suquamish man was riding a bicycle on Wendsday night when he was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

According to KCSO, the rider lacked lights or proper reflective equipment.

The incident remained under investigation.
