South Lake Tahoe, CA – One Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on US 50 at Arapahoe Street

South Lake Tahoe, CA – One person was killed Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision on US 50 in South Lake Tahoe, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at approximately 1:13 p.m. in the area of US Highway 50 and Arapahoe Street.

CHP officials said a gray Dodge Ram, a gray Subaru hatchback, and a Subaru SUV were involved in the wreck.

First responders found one person unresponsive and trapped inside a vehicle following the crash.

The emergency personnel declared the victim dead at the scene at approximately 1:32 p.m., according to the CHP. CHP had not released the identity of the person killed or provided information about what caused the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
