Solano County, CA – At least one person died in a rollover collision that happened Wednesday evening near Dixon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 6:18 p.m., January 7, on the southbound Interstate 505 near Allendale Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars overturned onto its side. One of the vehicles was possibly traveling in the wrong direction prior to the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and closed all southbound lanes of I-505 at Allendale.
At least one person was killed in the accident.
It was unclear if anyone else was hurt.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
