Sacramento, CA. — Six people, including two children, were injured Thursday evening in a multi-vehicle crash near Mather Boulevard and Arnold Way, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 5:20 p.m. and initially reported five injured individuals.

The number was later updated to six victims, including four adults and two children, all of whom were transported to a local hospital for medical care.

Traffic in the area cleared shortly after 6 p.m., officials said.

No further details about the victims or the circumstances of the crash were immediately released.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
