North Hollywood, CA.- Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in North Hollywood on Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident occurred on Vineland Avenue near Vanowen Street just before 6:45 a.m.
According to the report, four vehicles were involved in the crash that took out a railroad crossing in the area.
One of the vehicles overturned onto its roof while an SUV landed on top of another vehicle.
Five people were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while a sixth patient declined transportation.
A Ventura County Line Metrolink train was stopped a short distance from the scene as authorities worked to clear the wreckage.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
