A 30-year-old woman is believed to have been driving at a high rate of speed when she caused a five-vehicle crash in the area

Fresno, CA.- Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Fresno on Wednesday, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The incident happened on Jensen Avenue and Golden State Boulevard on Wednesday, August 20.
According to police, a 30-year-old woman is believed to have been driving at a high rate of speed when she caused a five-vehicle crash in the area.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to as many as eight parties injured on the crash.
Several patients were taken to hospitals with minor to major injuries.
The woman believed to have caused the collision was also suspected of DUI, according to Fresno police.
The incident remains under investigation.
