Covina, CA – Several people were reportedly injured after a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Covina this morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported just before 5:50 a.m. at Hollenbeck Avenue and Cypress Street.
Reports revealed that five vehicles were involved. A preliminary investigation revealed that a driver may have intentionally rammed into the cars in an attempt to flee from the scene.
Four people were injured in the crash with one was trapped and had to be extricated. All the victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The vehicles suffered significant damage.
Information regarding the incident was limited.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
