Police reports indicate that Manuel Uriel Hernandez Nolasco, 15, was riding an electric bike across Highland Avenue at the intersection of Rose Avenue when a car hit him.

Manuel Hernandez Nolasco Killed in Selma E-Bike Crash on Highland Avenue

Selma, CA – A teenager was hit and killed by a vehicle while riding on an e-bike in Selma on Tuesday afternoon, the Selma Police Department reported.

The accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on June 16, on Highland Avenue and Rose Avenue.

Police reports indicate that Manuel Uriel Hernandez Nolasco, 15, was riding an electric bike across Highland Avenue at the intersection of Rose Avenue when a car hit him.

The driver who struck Nolasco stayed at the scene and reportedly cooperated with investigators. No arrests were made in connection with the incident.

Nolasco, who initially sustained critical injuries, was taken to a hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the accident remained under investigation by the Selma Police Department and additional details are expected to be released.
