Man Killed in Santa Maria Motorcycle Crash at McCoy Lane and Broadway
Santa Maria, California (July 31, 2021) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Santa Maria on Friday night, according to the Santa Maria police.
The incident happened at about 10:50 p.m. July 30, at McCoy Lane and Broadway.
Police said a man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at the red light at the intersection and was struck by a vehicle that was making a turn from Broadway onto McCoy Lane.
The impact caused the car to turn onto its side.

The woman who was driving the car was not injured.
