
Santa Maria, CA.– Three people were injured in a collision involving a driver who fled the scene after a crash in Santa Maria on Sunday morning, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
At around 7:37 a.m. on November 30, 2025, authorities responded to the scene of a collision at the intersection of Main Street and Pine Street.
According to police, a driver of an SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when they collided with a vehicle traveling on Pine Street, before crashing into two other vehicles parked in the area. One of the parked vehicles had three adults inside.
The SUV also slammed into the Sabree’s Tae-Kwon Do Academy Botanica Yemaha, then burst into flames. The driver got out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The driver was only described as an adult and remains at large.
The three occupants of one of the parked vehicles struck by the suspect were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Further details were not immediately released. A search for the hit-and-run motorist is ongoing.
