1 Injured in Santa Cruz Car Crash on Carlton Road near Thompson Road
Santa Cruz, California (August 5, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a car accident in Santa Cruz on Thursday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Carlton Road near Thompson Road at about 6:26 a.m.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to flip onto its side.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The severity of the injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately established.
