28-year-old Semaj Weldon was killed in the crash that happened at around 4:30 p.m. October 8, on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Via Princessa.

Santa Clarita, CA – The man who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Santa Clarita on Thursday afternoon has been identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
28-year-old Semaj Weldon was killed in the crash that happened at around 4:30 p.m. October 8, on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Via Princessa.
According to California Highway Patrol, multiple vehicles were involved in the accident in the northbound lanes of the freeway. At least one of the vehicles overturned as a result of the collision and a section of the K-Rail was destroyed.
Firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and rendered aid to the involved parties.
Despite lefe-saving efforts, Weldon was declared deceased at the scene.
At least two people were transported to hospital by ambulance.
The cause of the deadly crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol and additional details are expected to be released.
