
San Ramon, CA. – A 41-year-old Castro Valley woman was killed in a suspected DUI car accident in San Ramon on Saturday afternoon.
According to the San Ramon Police Department, the accident happened on Crow Canyon Road.
28-year-old Badal Dholaria was driving a Tesla Model 3 when he collided with a Ford Bronco operated by a 41-year-old Castro Valley woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Her name was not immediately disclosed.
Dholaria was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he was treated and released. He was later arrested at the scene and booked into jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence.
Both directions of Crow Canyon Road were closed between Norris Canyon Road and Bollinger Canyon Road as the scene was cleared.
An investigation is ongoing.
