Authorities responded to the southbound lanes of the freeway just south of the Alcosta Boulevard on-ramp after they were notified about the crash around 6:43 p.m. on May 31.

San Ramon, CA – Major injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday evening on the 680 Freeway in San Ramon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities responded to the southbound lanes of the freeway just south of the Alcosta Boulevard on-ramp after they were notified about the crash around 6:43 p.m. on May 31.
The responders found a black Chevrolet Tahoe and another vehicle involved in the accident.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident, as per the report.
The Tahoe was towed away with major damage on all sides.
CHP officers did not immediately establish the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
