San Jose, CA – A female motorcyclist died two days after she was involved in a collision with a car Thursday evening at an intersection in San Jose.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the crash was reported around 7:30 p.m. on September 10, at Saratoga Avenue and Latimer Avenue.
Police said a woman was riding a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Saratoga when she collided with a white 2021 Audi Q5 making a left turn onto Latimer from southbound Saratoga.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the rider to the hospital with serious injuries.
The woman later died on Saturday while receiving treatment at the facility. Her name was not released pending notification of her family.
The driver of the car, a woman, stopped after the crash and cooperated with investigators.
