San Francisco, CA – A skateboarder is in the hospital after a collision that happened Thursday afternoon in San Francisco, authorities reported.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident was reported around 4:20 p.m. on April 23 in the 2000 block of Mission Street.

The skateboarder was hit by a car in the area under unclear circumstances.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the car stopped and remained at the scene after the accident.
