San Francisco, CA – A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a car Tuesday morning at an intersection in the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco.

The incident transpired just after 6 a.m. on July 13, 2026, at Sixth Street and Tehama Street.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a pedestrian with severe injuries after being hit by a car.

Paramedics performed CPR on the pedestrian before transporting them to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center in critical condition. The victim is estimated to be about 50 years old.

Investigators closed two blocks of Sixth Street from Howard Street to Clementina Street as they worked the scene.
