San Diego, CA. – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision on Saturday morning in Linda Vista.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened around 11:20 a.m. in the 1400 block of Ulric Street.
A 24-year-old woman was driving a Volvo S-60 sedan southbound on Ulric Street and was attempting to make a U-turn when it struck a southbound Kawasaki motorcycle operated by a 64-year-old man.
The rider was transported to the hospital with serious injuries including fractured vertebra, shattered right ankle and a lacerated tongue.
Alcohol and drugs were not found to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
