The driver of the box truck was taken to a trauma center in critical condition.
Sacramento, CA. – Two people were injured in a car crash on Monday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on Interstate 80 near Interstate 5 at around 12:30 p.m.
AÂ box truck collided with the two vehicles while traveling westbound on I-80 and continued northbound onto the I-5 on-ramp.
The box truck then hit the center median guardrail and landed on San Juan Road below I-5.
The driver of the box truck was taken to a trauma center in critical condition.
Another person in another vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
