Pleasanton, CA. – Rowena P. Coronel has been identified by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office as the woman who died after being struck by a car in Pleasanton on Tuesday evening.

The accident happened around 6:1 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Neal streets, according to the Pleasanton Police Department. Coronel

The 56-year-old woman was struck by a car at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Coronel was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
