The 28-year-old Glen Ellen resident was involved in the collision around 10 p.m. at Montgomery Drive and Farmer's Lane.

Santa Rosa, CA. – The Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office identified the man who died in a DUI suspected crash that happened Monday in Santa Rosa as Robert “Bob” Halmayr.
The 28-year-old Glen Ellen resident was involved in the collision around 10 p.m. at Montgomery Drive and Farmer's Lane.
21-year-old Aaron Rodriguez Hernandez of Santa Rosa was arrested and booked into jail following the crash.
According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, Halmayr was driving a silver Toyota Camry north on Farmer's Lane when he collided with a gray Nissan Maxima driven by Hernandez.
The force of the crash sent both vehicles into the parking lot of St. Eugene's Cathedral.
Halmayr died of his injuries at the scene.
Paramedics transported Hernandez to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
Police arrested and booked Hernandez into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of drugs causing injury, driving without a license, and violation of probation.
The suspect remained in custody Friday without bail, awaiting court appearance Monday morning.
Santa Rosa police said prior to the collision, one of their officers had spotted Hernandez's car speeding down E Street near 7th Street. The officer trailed Hernandez down city streets but could not maintain continuous visual contact and was not in a position to conduct a traffic stop. The officer again caught sight of Hernandez's vehicle from a distance as the suspect traveled east down Montgomery Drive.
